Top 40 Tracks : ウィキペディア英語版 | Top 40 Tracks
Top 40 Tracks is a defunct chart from ''Billboard'' magazine, which debuted in the issue dated December 5, 1998, when ''Billboard'' changed the airplay profile of the pop-heavy U.S. Hot 100 Airplay chart to incorporate more R&B, country, and rock stations to its radio panel. To preserve the notion of the former chart, Top 40 Tracks was introduced. The Top 40 Tracks was compiled by measuring audience impressions (based on a station's ratings and when a song is played) from Mainstream Top 40, Rhythmic Top 40, and Adult Top 40 radio stations. The Top 40 Tracks chart was replaced in March 2005 with the introduction of the Pop 100 Airplay chart. ==References==
